Sen. Hillary Clinton and Sen. Barack Obama are back to pointing fingers again.
This time, Hillary pointed out Obama’s proposed health care abandons 15 million Americans and his economic plan falls short of ending the foreclosures caused by the sub-prime mortgage fallout.
Obama hammered back, attacking Clinton on claims she is partially to blame for the economic woes of Washington. He also included John McCain in this attack.
“ ‘It's a Washington where politicians like John McCain and Hillary Clinton voted for a war in Iraq that should've never been authorized and never been waged -- a war that is costing us thousands of precious lives and billions of dollars a week’ that could be used on infrastructure, job training and health care, he said.” --Newsday
How long is Obama going to use the same line of just because he didn’t vote for the war he can not be held accountable for it? We are Americans, isn’t our entire country in this war together?
I think Obama represents change and so far his campaign reflects that. But just because he hasn’t been in Washington as long as Clinton or McCain and therefore there is less for his opponents to criticize him about, doesn’t mean he is better than Clinton. He just has less of a track record to pick apart.
